Start with a PADI video and hands-on instruction, then head from Marina Fonatur to Paradise Reef for two guided underwater sessions. Instructors such as Jorge, Gabo, Diego, Aldo, and Javier work patiently with beginners, while the crew supplies gear, snacks, drinks, and close safety support.

“Gabo was amazing. So patient and provided each of us with a tailored experiences that made us comfortable. Fantastic It is important to note this excursion takes about 4-5 hours. We were told by Viator 3.5 hours. When we discovered this after checking in with Discover Scuba they were kind and accommodated getting us back early so we could catch our cruise ship. However, we were only able to do half of the trip. Disappointing for such an expense but the Discover Scuba crew were amazing at doing their best to accommodate based on the miss information we received.”

He was full of information not just about the dive but the history of the Cenote’s and explained the scientific history of what we were seeing. He made sure to make all the right stops along the way pausing at places so we could simply take in the beauty of the light refractions. Cannot say enough good things!!! When I come back to Mexico I will for sure being coming back to dive them again!!!!”

On our boat there were three instructor/guides, six tourist/divers, the captain and his two sons. I felt safe and our equipment was well attended to between dives. I like the small group, boat and dives much better than big boat, multi-group dives. I would dive with A'HA again anytime!”
